(Wenham MA) Another commencement and with it the loosening of connections with some players/families from Gordon College men’s basketball.
This time around there were four players: Taylor Bajema, Hans Miersma, Craig McFarlane, and Jason Dempsey. And with each of the players comes family that we have gotten to know in special ways.
The graduation “casualties” don’t hit me until the opening game of the next season.
The weather was a major consideration for this outdoor event. It was raining in Connecticut and we experienced drizzling on our way to Gordon from Amesbury. We were on campus an hour early and there were plenty of umbrellas in place. BUT GOD kept the showers away from campus. PTL
Julie and I wish the graduates well. Hopefully they will turn up at some games next season.
